Gun enthusiasts are actually quite lucky when it comes to the amount of reference material we have available to us within the firearms world. Regardless of what your specific niche within the firearms world is, you’re more than likely to be able to find a book that covers that specific topic. This offering will either be a great read for you or perhaps the most painful thing you have ever read. The 7th Edition of Massad Ayoob’s Book of Combat Handgunnery is great teaching material for both new and old handgunners alike. The book goes into Massad’s very own experiences and assessment of both defensive handgun techniques as well as the types of equipment and firearms that are available to us. Massad runs the Massad Ayoob Group where he teaches people practical shooting techniques and tactics and has also written for law enforcement and martial arts publications giving him a wide array of experience when it comes to self-defense and use of force situations.
