While SIG SAUER may be best known for their firearms, they offer a robust line of optics as well. SIG’s Electro-Optics division offers dozens of products including everything from riflescopes and red dots to weaponlights and lasers, prism scopes, standalone magnifiers, thermal sights, and more. One of their successful categories in recent years has been their rangefinder lineup. Until recently, their available options have included one rangefinding binocular option and eight models of monoculars, spanning MSRPs from $179.99 to $1,319.99. Now they’re expanding the family with one new monocular model, and the promise of more to follow. The new rangefinder is called the KILO5K, and is the first in SIG’s KILO(K) series.

The KILO(K) lineup is meant to provide users with updated technological advantages. SIG’s XR (extended range) technology pushes the KILO5K’s maximum reflective range out to 5000 yards. It also features connectivity capabilities compatible with Kestrel and Garmin devices, BaseMap and SIG’s own BDX smartphone apps, and more. In addition, the KILO5K uses Applied Ballistics’ Ultralite engine to help the rangefinder make real-time ballistic calculations, coupled with SIG’s BDX (Ballistic Data Exchange) technology. These benefits come packaged in a convenient and lightweight 7.5oz form factor with 7x magnification, for an MSRP of $779.99. Get further details on SIG’s website and in their official product description for the new KILO5K rangefinder, listed below.
