TFB Podcast Roundup 66: ATF Regs, and Tactical Blindness

Welcome to the TFB Podcast Roundup 4. I recently took a trip out to Wyoming to do some prairie dog hunting and while my time out there was phenomenal, I was unfortunately stuck for many hours inside of the increasingly unbearable air transit system. Thankfully, this gave me plenty of time to reach out and discover a few new podcasts that I hadn’t encountered before. To my surprise, I actually got to meet up with one of the hosts from this week’s podcasts and gleaned a lot of invaluable information from him. So to my friend Paul G. Markel of Student of the Gun – thanks for all the info!

Don’t forget the TFB has its very own podcast, the TFB Behind the Gun Podcast featuring our host and Editor in Chief Pete M. Last week we featured special Guest Ryan Sikorski from Trijicon who talked at length about Trijcion’s new pistol iron sights that feature customizable and removable tritium inserts and hi-vis dots that complement one another whether you’re shooting in bright or low light conditions. The TFB Behind the Gun Podcast goes live every Thursday at 9:00 AM Eastern so don’t forget to subscribe and listen!

Subjects: Dispelling the myth that open bolt firearms are illegal and immediately considered a machine gun

Fudd Busters is hosted by gun rights Lawyer Matt Larosiere. He started Fudd Busters with the intention of dispelling the various (and numerous) myths that surround and infiltrate the 2nd Amendment community and takes some often confusing or confounding firearms law and turns it into plain English for his viewers. In this episode of his podcast, he talks about why open bolt firearms are in fact legal and don’t automatically get “machine gun” status by the NFA because of this one simple design aspect.

Lipsey’s AIM HIGHER Podcast Episode 12 – Ruger LCP MAX First Impressions

    Length: 26:14

Subjects: The guys talk about the Ruger LCP MAX and their first impressions of the concealed carry community’s latest  .380 ACP offering.

New gun, new episode! In Episode 12 of the Lipsey’s AIM HIGHER Podcast, dive in as we break down this all-new tiny powerhouse, the Ruger LCP MAX. We talk features, function, and future of what could be the latest trend in ultimate pocket carry pistols.

I’ve owned several LCPs throughout the years and it is one of the best “grab and go” concealed carry firearms out there. If you’re just making a quick trip away from the house to go grab a six-pack or a bottle of booze, it’s the obvious answer if you’re not willing to get your EDC gear ready to go for such a short trip. The LCP MAX just makes you that much more prepared with improved sights, new grip, and increased capacity.
