Lite and Refreshing: The Strike Industries OPPRESSOR LITE

Firearms have been getting lighter and lighter throughout the last few years. New materials and manufacturing techniques have shaved pounds from rifles. With our fresh, new lightweight rifles, the next step is to hang a bunch of heavy crap off of them, right? Adding accessories to your rifle can quickly bring the weight right back up to arm-shaking numbers. Strike Industries has decided to take some of that weight off of one of their existing products, the OPPRESSOR. Introducing the new OPPRESSOR LITE.

    Strike Industries @ TFB:

The Strike Industries OPPRESSOR LITE is the little brother to the original SI OPPRESSOR which also aids in redirecting blast and sound. Unlike most other blast shields on the market, the OPPRESSOR family is designed with computer aided flow dynamics to maintain the recoil reduction of SI muzzle devices. The LITE version is designed to be more lightweight than big brother, 3 full ounces lighter.

    The Strike Industries OPPRESSOR LITE

The OPPRESSOR LITE is a blast shield that attaches to your muzzle using Strike’s Strike Rapid Engage Mount. The body is anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, which is wrapped around a steel core. The geometry used is meant to redirect blast and sound while keeping all of the benefits of your muzzle brake. The OPPRESSOR LITE is available anodized in SI black, red, blue, and FDE.
