POTD: Special Forces Weapons Sergeant Course
The U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School is conveniently abbreviated to USAJFKSWCS. In our Photo Of The Day, we’re going to look at students assigned to this school and doing the Special Forces Weapons Sergeant Course. Above you can see a student with a Steyr AUG from Austria.
Below we have the Dae Woo K1A from Korea, a pretty uncommon firearm. Unless you’re in Korea I guess. TFB did a Daewoo K1A1 Field Strip a few years ago.
Israeli Galil. The location is Fort Bragg, North Carolina and this happened a little over a year ago in 2020.
M14 rifles.

The Soldiers were trainined to employ, maintain and engage targets with select U.S. and foreign pistols, rifles, shotguns, submachine and machine guns, grenade launchers and mortars and in the utilization of observed fire procedures.
The Galil from Israel again.
Apart from the M60, which one would you rather try for a day?
