Well, this was the last thing I was expecting to see come out of the gun industry! Just a few days ago Noveske, a well-respected producer of AR-15 rifles, released their Water Hog 5000 squirt gun. Perhaps it was due to being stuck inside the office or at the shop all day long unable to enjoy firearms because of the current status of ammunition prices but either way, I think it’s neat that the company decided to do something different with their product lineup – the best part is that this tactical super soaker is going to be available for presale by the time this article is published.

Tactical Summer Fun with the New Noveske Water Hog 5000

For this project, Noveske has partnered up with Urt who specializes in outdoor clothing as well as knives and other outdoor lifestyle accessories. The two companies came together to release the Water Hog 5000 as their “feel good” collaboration for the summer. The Water Hog 5000 features a 24oz tank capacity, manual pump pressurization, 100% California legality, and a trigger-activated firing method.

We present to you the Water Hog 5000 sqURT rifle. We’ve modernized the vintage pump action sqURT gun and given it some teeth. Tackle the heat with this beast and take control of your Summer.

The new Water Hog is available for pre-order now and will set you back $43.00. That is a little pricey for a tactical squirt gun but I think most people have come to expect to pay a premium when it comes to Noveske products. As part of their promotion for the Water Hog 5000, Noveske has released an absolutely hilarious and campy promo which you should definitely check out below (at home… not at work). From observing the video, I was able to gather that the Picatinny rails on top may not be to spec, but all that means is that our favorite tactical tinker Nick C will find a way to strap a PEQ-15 to it and market it as a tactical night time squirter.

Personally, if you just hook me up with a vest capable of carrying a few spare filled tanks, I’d happily take one of these with me the next time I head to the beach. What are your thoughts on this fun summer creation from Noveske and Urt?
