Each day a different image from the World of firearms. We call this POTD, short for Photo Of The Day, and it’s our daily article series where we go to great lengths trying to find the most interesting pictures and stories for you out there. The topic of today’s POTD is Accuracy International Ltd and their official U.K. launch of the AT-X rifle. Don’t take these images lightly. These are the first civilian competition rifles from AI for 40 years! Yet you say other brands hate you?

I wasn’t expecting AI to extend their range of calibers easily, but I guess 6.5 Creedmoor (pictured in red) is a must nowadays? The AT-X AICS (in blue) fits the Remington 700 actions (plus clones).

The arena for the event was the home of British Shooting – Bisley – The NRA of the UK at their Chobham Ridge Range.

Delivery of these rifles will take place at the end of the year.

So, do you go for the blue or the red pill?
