ZRO Delta adds a new rifle to their Ready Series of AR-15 models, the 17.76 LVOA. Unlike other packages of the series, this rifle only has a limited number of selected accessories. Indeed it is intended to be a solid base for the user to customize at will.

ZRO Delta Releases New 17.76 LVOA Rifle
17.76 is the length of the handguard of this rifle in inches which is obviously tailored to resemble 1776, the year the United States Declaration of Independence was adopted. ZRO Delta is not telling us the meaning of their trademarked acronym, but a quick internet search tells us that it was originally born from “Low Visibility Operation Application”.
With the name clear we can look at the other features of the rifle.
Specifications:
- 7075 Forged Receiver Set
- 16” 1:8 .223 Wylde Nitride Barrel
- Mil-Spec Configuration w/ Ambi Bolt Release
- Top-Hat Muzzle Device
- ELG Fire Control Group
- 17.76” Free Floating LVOA Rail
- Mission First Minimalist Stock and Grip
- Weight: 6.7 lbs.
- Length: 36.5″ (Fully Extended Stock)
The operation appears to be through direct impingement. The 17.76″ LVOA rifle has a 16″ barrel in order to allow flexibility in the choice of the muzzle device. While it comes standard with ZRO Delta’s Top-Hat muzzle brake, which can be equipped with an optional blast shield, the threaded muzzle allows the installation of the user’s favorite device. The lateral cutouts on the handguard and its generous internal diameter allow the use of suppressors of up to 1.5″ diameter.
The 17.76 LVOA is a dealer’s exclusive and no MSRP is mentioned on the website. The Ready Series models start at $ 1,499, although with more accessories, so we can expect a price in that range.
