See for yourself how the Single Action Revolver holster from 1791 Gunleather offers a timeless look with unmatched comfort and quality.
Although I’ve never personally carried a single-action revolver, I have seen quite a few Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) members use them as part of their gear requirement and it is a completely different world compared to semi-auto or even modern double-action revolvers. 1791 Gunleather has a reputation for very high-quality leather holsters and their Single Action Revolver Holster should be no different. At the time of writing, there is no further information on the release date or pricing for this holster.

I've never quite understood this type of retention strap on holsters. You have to extend your hand down past the gun to release the strap and then come back up again to retrieve your weapon. If it's for sheer retention only it would make sense but the whole point of carrying a gun is for defense. Why make it slower to access your weapon when something like a thumb break gives you the same retention but faster access? You could argue that you can release it pretty fast with practice but you'll never be faster than a thumb break. If seconds count why choose a slower method?
Got a Desantis Desperado for when I want to play cowboy. Good retention even out in the woods, rides high and tight and has the proper appearence. I do miss the old ones I had made in Mexico back in the long ago and far way.
