POTD: Pulsar Thermal Clip-Ons and Thermal Sight on a Blaser R8

Photo Of The Day and we take a look at a bunch of thermal clip-ons and a thermal sight that were released recently. Above: Closest to the camera is the Pulsar Proton FXQ30, then the Krypton FXG50 and a Thermion 2 mounted on a Blaser R8 in .308 Win.

Below you can see the Zero Compromise ZC420 riflescope on a Ruger Precision Rifle with the Pulsar clip-ons and the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 PRO Thermal Monocular. The Krypton fits the ZC420 best, due to the 4x minimum power. Yes, TFB is going to review the ZC420 as well in the near future.

The Pulsar Proton FXG30 is a very compact thermal clip-on. The adapters are made to fit riflescope with a diameter of 42 mm and larger, and work best with magnifications between 1.4 to 4x. The display is in color, so you can run white/black hot and 6 other palettes. Below you can compare it to some common objects found in most people’s pockets.

Here’s the Proton with the 42 mm adapter.
