Well, I guess if you’re going to gold plate a 1911 it better at a minimum be a Colt.  I can’t decide if I like that it’s the older 1911A1 style or if I’d prefer something a tad more modern.  Either way, it’s not really my style.

This gun is a showpiece, and I seriously doubt the gun will ever be fired.  With that said, I can’t really criticize the gun based on function, but I’ll go ahead and assume jam anyways.  I think owning this 1911 is purely a statement.  You either have more money than god, work in a questionable industry, or are just in debt up to your eyeballs.

Either way, I could be wrong about this Colt 1911.  Maybe someone will scream out something about gold prices and how that justifies this.  As always, I leave it up to you, the reader, to decide.
