Photo Of The Day: The location is Camp Shelby, Mississippi, USA, with French Special Operations Forces visiting the U.S. 24th Special Operations Wing. The exercise was called Emerald Warrior. Camp Shelby is the largest state-owned training site in the nation, with a massive 136,000 acres (550 km2) area.

The French soldiers are most likely from the unit Le commando Parachutiste de l’Air no 10 (CPA 10), created in 1956. Unfortunately I cannot spot any FAMAS rifles in these pictures.

Standing ready and keeping an eye out for our team this Monday.
U.S. Air Force Special Tactics operators assigned to the 24th Special Operations Wing and members of the French Special Operations Forces patrol through a forest on the way to raid an opposing force-held village during Emerald Warrior 21.1, Feb. 25, 2021, at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. Emerald Warrior focused on U.S partner nation relationships while emphasizing joint force interoperability.

These pictures are also a good example of how much you stand out when you’re flexing those white biceps.
