Photo Of The Day and some more images from the NATO enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group in Latvia. The rifles are the Canadian C14 Timberwolf MRSWS (Medium Range Sniper Weapon System) made by PGW Defence Technologies Inc. with a stock from McMillan, possibly the McMillan A5 polymer stock. The C14 uses the .338 Lapua Magnum rifle cartridge. There is also a C15, which is a McMillan TAC-50.

Weather has an impact on the flight path of the projectile along with other variables, and when it comes to long range shooting, these factors must be taken into consideration. It is paramount to shoot in all weather conditions to gather shooting solutions, which will improve first round hit probability.
