The newest addition to Safariland’s customizable armor systems is here with the release of the third generation SHIFT 360 scalable plate rack system. The SHIFT 360 features a lightweight and durable internal lining system and adjustability to accommodate plates of almost any size.

The Shift 360™ System builds upon the original Shift 360 platform with all-new design refinements for improved fit, form, and function. This sleek and innovative plate rack design offers the operator ultimate scalability and protection based on mission-specific requirements.

The third generation, SHIFT 360 is scalable plate rack system designed to accommodate multiple sizes ranging from small to extra-large SAPI plates. The lightweight, highly durable, flex internal lining system ensures a tight and secure fit and will support a variety of plate thicknesses. And the SHIFT is available with either Advanced Webless System with our new proprietary Divergent MOLLE (AWS) in 500D Cordura® nylon, or Traditional Modular Webbing (TMW) in 500D Cordura® nylon (Coming soon).

The SHIFT 360 is available in Black, Navy, Ranger Green, Tan, Multicam, Tactical Green, and Coyote.

The strong suit of the SHIFT 360 seems to be its ability to adapt to both the armor inserts being used as well as the operator bearing the armor. A common problem I see with newer users to armor systems is poor fitment with either the wrong size carrier being worn or not having the correct sized carrier adjusted correctly to fit the wearer. The SHIFT 360 could be a great place to start for your first plate carrier.
