Photo Of The Day today brings Norwegian CV90 light infantry vehicles in a dry and dusty environment in the Polish Zagan training area during exercise Noble Jump. You can also see the Barrett MRAD (Multi-role Adaptive Design) bolt-action sniper rifle appear below, in the hands of Norwegian snipers.

The “Cold War” photo below is pretty cool, where we have a Hind Attack Helicopter flying over Norwegian CV90 light infantry vehicles in Poland.

Sniper unit from Telemark battalion under exercise Noble Jump in Poland.

The Barrett MRADs were ordered by the Norwegian Armed Forces in 2013.

Norway has over 170 CV90s, and just ordered another 12 combat engineering vehicles and 8 multi-role vehicles.

All photos taken by Frederik Ringnes (Forsvaret) – Norwegian Defense.

    "CV90 Light Infantry Vehicles"
What ignorant twit decided a 70,000 lbs armored infantry fighting vehicle was a 'light infantry vehicle'?

@FormerDirtDart Infantry Fighting Vehicle is probably a more apt description.
