Do you remember when virtual reality began being a thing in the 1980-90s? Well, I do, and I think we were all expecting things to move a lot quicker than they have done in reality.
In our Photo Of The Day, we’ll take a look at what is going on within the U.S. Army. Above you can see U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Kenneth Greene, 380th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron as he points a simulated M-18. He’s wearing a virtual reality (VR) system at the Al Dhafra Air Base (ADAB), United Arab Emirates, at the beginning of 2020.
The VR system allows members to participate in various simulated scenarios, preparing them for real-world situations. It also saves time and money going to the shooting range.

Have you tried a Virtual Reality system like this, or anything similar? What did you think?
