Leupold Optics have just introduced three new binoculars to their BX line of HD binoculars, with different optical zoom options within each offering. One of the more unique models, the BX-T (T for Tactical) offers a Mil reticle to aid in ranging, be it for hunting, law enforcement or military applications, or perhaps even competitions that involve a lot of distance and movement. The BX HD series is billed as being extremely rugged, as well as allowing extra light transmittance.

Two of Leupold’s newest models to the BX series of binoculars are the BX-1 McKenzie HD, and the BX-2 Alpine HD. It appears that the BX-1 McKenzie HD has more of a focus on low light, while the BX-2 Alpine HD is constructed with clarity as the primary goal. BX-1 MCKENZIE HD binoculars

BX-2 ALPINE HD binoculars

The weight range of BX-2 models is 28 to 32 ounces.

BX-T HD BINOCULARS

The 10×42 BX-T HD binoculars utilize a reticle in the left tube that is meant to help with ranging for tactical situations. The description seen below seems to have combined both strengths of the BX-1 and BX-2 models, as well as the addition of the MIL-L reticle. The BX-T HD binoculars have an MSRP of $649.99 and weigh in at 24 ounces.
