POTD: B&T Station SIX

Photo Of The Day – If you’re looking for a modern version of the Welrod look no further. In Europe, it’s called the B&T VP9. VP stands for “Veterinary Pistol”, which makes a lot of sense. A few years ago I shot it at the B&T Police & Military Days and it’s very, very silent. Basically, all you hear is the firing pin. The name is very confusing, considering H&K’s VP9 in the US so it’s understandable that it’s been renamed to B&T Station SIX in the U.S. market.
From B&T USA:
Tracing its roots back to the covert, World War II-era Welrod pistol, and more modernized contract VP9, the all-new Station SIX-9 (Silenced Project caliber 9) harkens back to the famed Bride Hall weapons acquisition section, or SOE Station VI and later Station IV, where the original concept was conceived.
This updated, integrally suppressed pistol features a new grip and updated magazines, yet maintains its non-descript appearance, whisper-quiet sound signature and unique rotating bolt operation. Available in 9mm and .45 Auto
The two pictures above are from B&T USA.
Here’s a picture I took in 2015, at the B&T Police & Military Days.
If you know what you’re doing, you can actually shoot fairly fast with this pistol, but it’s no semi-auto.
You can find B&T USA here.
Which caliber would you prefer? 9 mm or .45?

I'm normally a "9mm is good enough for everything" guy, but in a weapon as specialized as this, it makes more sense to min-max. So, .45 ACP, as heavy as it can feed and stabilize.

Any bond arm derringer has a round more, with a skilled gunsmith you can suppress both barrels and can switch to an usual configuration by barrel change.
BUT, it looks very tacticool, very, very....
