New from SIG Sauer this year is the P320 XCarry Legion, a compact pistol set up with a threaded barrel, suppressor height night sights, and a flared magwell.  In addition, it has the tungsten infused grip module for added weight and comes ready for a pistol optic.  SIG has also equipped the three included magazines with aluminum Henning Group base pads for extra capacity.  The XCarry Legion seems to be the only threaded pistol in SIG’s current catalogue, as the most recent “TacOps” threaded pistols were discontinued in 2019.

The SIG SAUER P320 XCARRY LEGION is a 9mm striker-fired pistol, with the TXG tungsten infused heavy XCARRY grip module and attached magwell, a Legion Gray PVD Slide, a suppressor ready ½ x 28 standard threaded barrel, and a skeletonized trigger.  The pistol comes optic ready and is compatible with a SIG SAUER Electro-Optics ROMEO1Pro Optic or a standard DeltaPoint Pro Optic, features fully adjustable XRAY3 day/night suppressor sights, and comes with three 17-round magazines with anodized aluminum Henning Group base pads.

Price and detailed specs are yet to come out for this particular model.  What do you readers think about “compact tactical” type pistols?  I find they have good utility for indoor use.  They’re great for indoor range practice or as a nightstand type firearm, provided they are properly equipped with a good quality silencer.  I don’t know how fun this firearm would be to carry, especially with any muzzle devices attached on the end, but it does look like a quality platform for some suppressed shooting.  Though SIG does not currently offer other threaded pistols, factory threaded barrels for several different SIG pistols can be found here.
