[SHOT 2021] DryFireMags Now Available for Springfield XD, S&W M&P and SIG P320

A few SHOT Shows back I stumbled upon the DryFireMag and gave it a try at their booth. I liked it so much I went out and bought one for myself.  Back then it was only available for Glock pistols. Well, they now have training mags available for the Springfield XD, S&W M&P and SIG Sauer P320 pistols, with M&P Shield mags coming soon as well.

Dry fire training is something I think everyone should be doing, especially these days with the shortage of ammo and higher costs.

The DryFireMag is a dryfire training device that fits into the magazine well of pistols. The DryFireMag (DFM) provides tactical and audible simulation of the trigger release and reset without having to rack the slide to reset the firing pin. The mechanism is completely contained in a magazine-like case and requires no alterations to the pistol before or after the dryfire training session. Installing in seconds, this device allows practice with the shooter’s own weapon. The device does not engage or release the firing pin, so there is no wear on the pistol. The DFM is NOT an OPTION it is a NECESSITY! “Racking the slide builds muscle memory that can get you killed.” Ron LaPedis PoliceOne.com The DFM is available for Glocks, S&W M&P, and Springfield XD. DFM for Sig Sauer P320 will be released in February. The M&P Shield will be available in April  With the new laser that is available in the DFM, you can practice with just the DFM, with the laser, or with laser interactive targets.

But wait, there’s more! The folks over at Dry Fire Mag also gave us a sneak peek at their new laser insert that can be used along with their training mags. It’s slated to be released in Spring 2021, we’ll let you know more details and pricing info as it becomes available.

A “sneak preview” of the DryFireMag laser! You’ve been asking for it, and now it’s coming in the Spring, 2021. The DryFireMag has revolutionized dryfire practice. With the DryFireMag, you don’t have to move your hand from the pistol to rack the slide each time you pull the trigger. The DryFIreMag has made it posible to do dryfire practice realisticly, the way you would actually shoot. TacticalWire recently said about the DryFireMag, “This is one of the best practice tools for semi-auto pistols ever”. Now with the addition of a laser device in the DryFireMag, it will only be better! You’ll be able to train with just the DryFireMag, with the laser, or with a laser interactive target.
