Slovenian firearms manufacturer AREX Defense is pleased to announce the latest iteration of their bestselling pistol, the Delta. Three brand new models of the pistol will be introduced with the Delta Gen 2 series with new customization options as well as all the great legacy features from the original Delta series.

AREX Defense Announces Delta Gen 2 Striker-Fired Pistol

The most notable difference in the Delta Gen 2 series of pistols is the availability of three different sizes. Each of these basic variants will also feature availability with or without an optics-ready slide.

The AREX Delta gen.2 is available in three basic variants but each may be ordered in factory Optics Ready configuration enabling you to further enhance the pistol with a reflex optical sight. The most compact – M variant is practically identical in size to the first generation AREX Delta and reverse grip frame compatibility has been maintained for your convenience.  Modular design enables you to customize the firearm to your needs and preferences. Removable front and rear frame inserts incorporate slide guides and hold the complete fire control mechanism yet only the front insert is a serialized part that must remain with the firearm while everything else may be customized or exchanged if necessary or desired.

The original checkered grip texture of the first generation Delta pistol has been replaced with a new non-slip stippling that sports a sandpaper or grip tape style texture but also features smooth edges so that the grip does not snag on clothing. The optics-ready slide will be able to accommodate some of the most popular types of handgun optics like the Trijicon RMR, Leupold Delta Point Pro, J-Point, Vortex Razor and many more. In total, there will be 5 different mounting plates included with the Delta Gen 2 pistol.

The Delta Gen 2 also comes in three different color variations and adds a new flared magazine well, a 2-slot Picatinny rail, and four interchangeable grip inserts. All in all, AREX has brought a load of new features on the second generation of the Delta pistol and I feel like this one will be just as much of a hit as the first generation.
