Sound the Drums – Magpul D-50 EV9 Now Shipping
Drums have been carried into battle since ancient times. The bone-quaking booms of massive drums let the enemy know that fury was about to be unleashed. The fury has remained the same, but Magpul has replaced the thundering vibrations with the sharp cracks of 9mm bullets. The Magpul D-50 EV9 drum magazine stuffs 50 rounds of 9mm into your CZ Scorpion, and is now shipping.
The Magpul PMAG D-50® EV9™ brings you increased capacity and unmatched Magpul reliability in a 9x19mm Parabellum, 50-round drum magazine for your favorite large-format pistols and pistol caliber carbines that feed from CZ Scorpion® EVO 3-pattern magazines. Now shipping at Magpul.com and available soon at retailers that carry our products.
Go 50 Rounds with the Magpul D-50 EV9
Magpul has been showing 9mm sub guns some love recently, including handguards for the MP5. The addition of the D-50 EV9 to the lineup of accessories for the Scorpion is a welcomed one. It uses a ratcheting loading lever to remove tension from the spring, in order to aid in the normally mind (and thumb) numbing loading of a drum magazine. The follower is orange to increase visibility through the rounds-remaining window at the back of the magazine body. The D-50 EV9 also retains the ability to lock back after the last round when used in firearms designed to lock back on CZ Scorpion EVO 3-patterned magazines. To round out the package, these mags are made in the U.S.A.
Technical Specs:
Caliber: 9×19
Platform: CZ Scorpion
Capacity: 50

If you want to get hold of one of these, you can order directly from Magpul’s website. They offer more than just magazines for the Scorpion, so head over to their main page, if you don’t already have their site memorized. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram are great places to keep up, as well.

I just wonder if it will be easier, faster to refill than the D60. That one takes far longer to fill than to empty and leaves me with a numb thumb afterwards. Plus you can get 10 standard mags for the price of one D60. Functions flawlessly when emptying it though.
And where is the Glock version at??
