Welcome everyone to the 75th edition of ‘Hot Gat or Fudd Crap?’, one of our many series here on TFB. If you’re new to the series, this is where we look at the most obscure firearms that are actually for sale and ask the question – is this Gat a sweet deal or only have Fudd appeal?  Each week the TFB staff weighs in with their thoughts, but readers get the final say in the poll at the bottom of each article.

In our last edition, our poll showed that you, the readers, decided the shorty side charger was just fudd crap.

At this time the original auction has ended and the pistol has SOLD.  No, you’re not having a stroke, the gun actually sold for $2,350.  In all fairness, congrats to the purchaser of what they’ve deemed was a hot gat.

In this week’s edition of HGFC, we look at four horsemen themed Micro Draco pistol. As is tradition, this laser enhanced Draco is currently up for sale on GunBroker for $720 Current Bid or $3,498.00 Buy It Now.

Let’s see what the Staff had to say about this week’s offering:

“Bedazzling it doesn’t make me want it more. In fact I want it even less now.” – Nick C.

“All best engravers can only dream to express their art on such rare sheet metal” – Giorgio O.

“Better to buy an unengraved micro Draco and save the rest of that $3500 for Bail money.” – Rusty S.

“Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just put Lisa Frank stickers on it?” – Nic L.

First things first, there’s a difference between rare and sought after. I understand that only two of these were ever made, but let us not get ahead of ourselves here.  At the end of the day, it’s still a Micro Draco.  I will admit I have a bias, and I do enjoy an imported AK over one built in America.  With that said, the Micro Draco is at the absolute bottom of my favorite AK’s imported list.

Oddly enough, I find it fitting to have all these devils engraved on the side of this Draco. The Micro Draco is quite literally a little hellion. It’s great for uncomfortably launching massive fireballs with a painful concussive blast that could rival some flashbangs. They aren’t accurate or fun to shoot, but they do work.

I guess I can’t figure out what’s more confusing about this gun – the engraving or the fact that the bid is at $720 and the reserve still hasn’t been met. Who knows, maybe I’m missing something and this gun really is that cool. As always I leave it up to you, the reader, to decide.
