The list of Non-Restricted Firearms in Canada continues to surprise. About a month ago we had the Chinese Type 81 LMG in Canada, and now it’s time for the legendary Heckler & Koch G36. These are sold by Tactical Imports Corp. (Mississauga, Ontario) and come with either a Match Grade barrel from Lothar Walther or HK original barrel (sold out, despite the additional $2,000).

Details: One of the rarest and most sought-after black rifles on the Canadian market, the G36 is offered in brand-new and in non-restricted configuration with only very limited stock available. Fitted with a reproduction bolt head and offered with choice of HK or nitrated German Lothar Walther match grade barrel (pictured). Comes with two 5/30 magazines and manual. Priced significantly less than market value, first come first served. In-stock and ready to ship.

The G36 is a 5.56x45mm rifle, developed in the early 1990’s for the German military. The G36 quickly gained a reputation for its reliability, durability, accuracy and ease of use, and has been exported to over 45 different countries around the world. The modular platform allows easy changes of configurations and layouts to suit mission requirements.

The G36 can be stripped and re-assembled without tools through a system of cross-pins similar to that used on earlier HK designs. It employs a free-floating barrel with a 1:7 rifling twist rate. The barrel assembly consists of the gas block and a collar with a bayonet lug.
