Sleep Paralysis – The SIG Custom Works Nightmare Series

The new SIG Custom Works Nightmare Series P220, P226, and P229

SIG Sauer has been releasing a lot of new stuff. If you saw James Reeves’s recent visit to SIG, Sauer New Hampshire, you’re probably as excited about the new SIG Custom Works as the rest of us pistol guys. The potential to customize a fresh FCU is borderline heart-racing. However, there’s something to be said about a well-built, from the factory, hand-fitted, metal gun. It’s like an old school Cadillac, but with only about 40,000 miles on it. The most recent example of this is the limited edition Nightmare Series from SIG Custom Works.

The team at SIG Custom Works has reimagined three of the most iconic SIG pistols giving them the infamous blacked out Nightmare treatment.

    Dreaming of the Nightmare Series

A veil of darkness has been pulled over three classics. Launching the SIG Custom Works Nightmare Series are the P220, P226, and P229. Each is fitted with a blacked out frame and a SIG Custom Works engraved slide. In stark contrast, the controls are nickel plated, keeping the aesthetic of the pistols interesting. The colors, however, are not the only new tricks from these old dogs. The Custom Works Nightmare series P220, P226, and P229 are the first SIG pistols to feature Hogue Classic Contour SL G-10 Grips.

No limited edition pistol is complete without a little extra something to show off to your friends. These Nightmare Series blasters come in Custom Works Negrini pistol cases, which include a SIG Custom Works challenge coin and a certificate that would look right at home on the wall next to your doctorate. While this isn’t the first time SIG Sauer offered tricked-out versions of their legacy pistols, the Nightmare series looks right at home in the lineup.
