The Henry Repeating Arms Company has announced that they’ll be donating 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of 65 rifles to help a 3 year old Michigan girl that’s been diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia.  As of the time of publishing, 63 of the rifles have already been sold, and the remaining two rifles are up for auction on Gunbroker.com.  The campaign has been dubbed “Prayers for Preslie”, and the donated rifles reflect the campaign name on the stock and in the serial numbers.

The following is from Henry’s website:

Preslie Mantsch, a 3-year-old girl from Iron River, Michigan was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in April of this year, in the middle of a worldwide pandemic.

Under the ‘Guns For Great Causes’ banner, we are proud to announce the release of the custom Henry Golden Boy Silver “Prayers For Preslie” Edition rifles, all of which were donated by Henry Repeating Arms President and Owner, Anthony Imperato. The proceeds collected from this limited-edition series of 65 rifles will be presented to the Mantsch family to assist with the medical costs associated with childhood cancer treatments.

The “Prayers For Preslie” Edition rifle, chambered in .22 S/L/LR, is built on the Henry Golden Boy Silver platform with a nickel-plated receiver cover, buttplate, and barrel band. The genuine American walnut buttstock is engraved with an orange leukemia awareness ribbon in the middle of butterfly wings, capturing Preslie’s magical and determined spirit. Above the butterfly are the words “Prayers For Preslie” in matching bright orange. The artwork was designed by one of Preslie’s family members, and Baron Engraving of Trumbull, CT donated their services to engrave and paint the design on the buttstocks. Each rifle is marked with a unique serial number ranging from “PRESLIE01” through “PRESLIE65.”

All of the rifles are available for purchase directly from Henry Repeating Arms with the exception of the first and last in the series, which are up for auction on Gunbroker.com. Thank you to everyone who chooses to support this ‘Guns For Great Causes’ campaign on behalf of Preslie and her family.

THE ‘PRAYERS FOR PRESLIE’ RIFLES ARE NOW SOLD OUT. PLEASE VISIT THE AUCTION LINKS ABOVE FOR THE LAST TWO RIFLES LEFT IN THE SERIES. THANK YOU HENRY FAMILY FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
