Shooting from a tripod may look easy, but it’s actually more difficult to master than you would think. But at the end of the day, using a bipod or a tripod as shooting support is in most cases better than shooting free-handed. Today we take a look at the 260RIPS Long Range Shooting Signature Edition REKON CT3-HD Precision Tripod System (that’s a long name).

The rifle is a straight-pull AR15 chambered in .223 Remington, to suit the national gun laws in Scotland. Note the suppressor.

For more details on the rifle check out CISCAR (Calibre Innovations Side Charging AR).

The thermal riflescope is the European version of the Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XP50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope which TFB reviewed recently. The U.S. version has a different eyepiece.

Here’s a video which shows the view from the Trail 2.

People will whine it's neutered and all but in the same breath will recommend a bolt action that's threaded.

@Kaban In Norway the straight pull ARs are looked down upon. Critics citing "weak primary extraction" as the main issue with the AR series.

The 20 rd trench mag for the mauser (AKA garbage rod in Norway) was sold out on brownells. Sooo, i assume there's some high cap mags for bolt actions 😅

Fellas should change rifle's name before it is too late. I mean, "cis", y'know. Can get one in trouble these days.
