POTD: U.S. Marines with M72A7 Light Anti-Tank Weapon
If you have a taste and interest in weapons, this is where you’ll find some of the greatest photographers in the world on the subject. Let TFB’s Photo Of The Day be your daily guide. Today we’re looking at a LAW, or Light Anti-Tank Weapon, fired by a U.S. Marine in Kuwait (2020).
Below you can see another U.S. Marine with the 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response – Central Command 20.2, as he’s preparing the M72A7 LAW.
Below: Another M72A7 being prepared on the anti-tank shooting range.
Below: U.S. Marine with his M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle. Confusing stuff with the M72 and the M27 combined.
Below: Radio check going on.
All photos by U.S. Marine Corps, photos taken by Lance Cpl. Andrew Skiver.
Did you ever fire an M72A7 Light Anti-Tank Weapon? How was it?

Supply must have lost all the helmet covers in an unfortunate boating accident, all the Marines get to go "operator" style with no helmet covers and lots of velcro.
