Smith and Wesson have just announced the launch of its latest marketing campaign which is tailored towards new gun owners entering the gun community for the first time. The Smith & Wesson GUNSMARTS campaign will cover a series of how-to videos with industry experts to answer questions new gun owners might have regarding their firearms and training.
GUNSMARTS Campaign by Smith & Wesson Targets New Gun Owners
The Smith & Wesson GUNSMARTS campaign will cover four basic areas of firearms ownership which should help new shooters learn at their own base with the on-demand repository of instructional videos ready to go at their fingertips.
Firearm Basics will give new shooters tips, Insight, and Instructions on how to get started with their first firearms purchase. Some of the videos in this category include talking to your children about gun safety, how to properly store your newly purchased firearm, and even different types of firearms that are available.
Other videos will cover things such as shooting fundamentals like your stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, and other basic techniques. Meanwhile, Other videos will cover basic firearms safety and finally, there will be videos on personal protection and how to defend yourself and your home with your firearm.
With a flood of new firearms owners entering the industry, this is a welcome service indeed. Many people who are now buying guns will have either very little or no experience at all with firearms and this can lead to a potentially dangerous situation. After all, the tool is only as sharp as its user and Smith & Wesson is doing their part to help bridge the gap and welcome these new owners into the firearms world with open arms and with the knowledge that will keep them safe.
