CAA Introduces MCK Kits for Glock 43/43X/48 and Springfield Armory Pistols

CAA Gear Up keep expanding their MCK line of handgun chassis/conversion kits. A couple of weeks ago we reported about their new Polymer80 frame compatible kits and today we’ll take a look at the latest additions to MCK family of products – chassis designed for a variety of Springfield Armory handguns as well as for Glock G43, G43X and G48 pistols.

The CAA MCK conversion kit for Glock 43/43X/48 pistols (see the top picture) has a slimmer design tailored to the dimensions of these single stack Glock pistols. This is, in fact, the first ever MCK chassis made for a single stack handgun. It is also a Gen2 pattern chassis designed to accommodate suppressor height sights and up to 1.38″ diameter suppressors.

The MCK kit for Springfield Armory handguns has two versions. The model shown in the above-embedded picture is designed for Springfield Armory pistols chambered in 9mm or .40 S&W and is compatible with the following models: XD and XD mod.2 with 4″ and 5″ barrels;  XDM and XDM Elite with 3.8″ and 4.5″ barrels. The second MCK chassis for SA pistols is shown below and it is compatible with the following models of Springfield Armory pistols chambered in .45 ACP and 10mm Auto: XD and XD mod.2 with 4″ and 5″ barrels; XDM with 3.8″ & 4.5″ barrels. These kits ship with a set of charging handles and other accessories needed to fit them to different models of Springfield Armory pistols.

Other features of MCK kits are the top aluminum Picatinny rail, side rail sections, front spare magazine holder and ambidextrous charging handle. These kits are drop-in products not requiring any changes to the handguns. In fact, it is not even required to disassemble the handguns to install them into MCK chassis.

The MCK Glock 43/43X/48 kit has an MSRP of $299. The Springfield Armory pistol kits are listed at a price point of $392. When ordering, you can choose from an NFA stock, CAA Gen2 Stabilizer or Short Stabilizer. All three new MCKs are available in black, white, green, tan or tungsten color options. The G43/43X/48 chassis can also be ordered in blue, red, orange or red colors. Additionally, there is a translucent version that however will increase the price by $25. Currently, all three chassis are available for preorder with a $68 discount and free flashlight shipped with preordered units. The estimated start of shipping is mid-October 2020.
