Thyrm has just introduced its latest update to the SwitchBack flashlight ring platform – the SwitchBack DF. The Thyrm SwitchBack turns your compact flashlight into a flexible, tactical tool. Attaching a SwitchBack to your tactical flashlight allows you to use your handheld light while still maintaining a two-handed grip on your handgun.

While a traditional flashlight will require you to hold the light and pistol separately, the Thyrm SwitchBack allows you to maintain a two-hands grip on your handgun while making use of your separate tactical light. This is especially useful if you are unable to mount a weapon-mounted light.

Since the original SwitchBack’s introduction in 2014, it has been the flashlight accessory of choice for ensuring retention, deployment, and better manipulation during searching and shooting. The original SwitchBack flashlight ring was designed to fit most SurFire handheld lights such as the G2, 6P, and P2. The original SwitchBack, however, did not fit the new SurFire DFT (Dual Fuel Tactical) light which has become a popular daily carry option for many. The SwitchBack fan community spoke out and Thyrm responded with the SwitchBack DF.

SwitchBack DF Features

• A tubular portion that is cut lower to allow grip on both sides of the tail-cap during installation.
