Featured Deals of the Week – 7/31/20

Welcome back to another Featured Deals of the Week. Prices are high, a good deal is rare, and I’m out here trying to find whatever I can to get you guys to take out those wallets. So without any further ado, let’s get into it.

EOTech Model 512 Holographic Weapon Sight – $399.99 with code “512”

Image Provided by Palmetto State Armory

    What the deal is:

It’s everybody’s favorite EOTech, the 512! Or maybe not, maybe you prefer one of the XP models. Point is, it’s the EOTech 512. It’s a fantastic holographic optic that would go great on your home defense or range gun. It’s compatible with 1″ Weaver or Picatinny rails and runs on AA batteries. The dot itself is 1 MOA with a 65 MOA circle for ease of target acquisition.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Street price for these seems to hover somewhere around $430 on the low end up to $500 on the high end. So for $399.99 before shipping/tax you’re saving a decent chunk on a rock-solid sight.

    Surplus Carcano M91 TS Carbine 6.5x52mm – $249

    Image Provided by DK Firearms

    What the deal is:

Original Italian Carcano M91 TS carbines. So, what the heck are they? The Carcano M91 was the Italian rifle of choice during the first World War and was used by Italians and some Germans during the second. These rifles were originally issued to artillery, mortar, machinegun, and other specialized troops, hence the “TS” marking, which stands for Truppe Speciali, or Special Troops. They were manufactured as carbine-length rifles, and have not been cut down or sporterized. These rifles are all in “good to fair” condition according to the seller.

    Why it’s a good deal:

This is about as good of a price on these as you’ll see these days, and while as always when I post a surplus deal I know someone will have a story about how they bought ten for a nickel back when Hoover was in office, this is the going price today. If you’re interested, it’s a neat piece of history for $250.

    Bushnell Nitro Rifle Scope 5-20x44mm – $229.49

Image Provided by Natchez Shooters Supplies

    What the deal is:

It’s starting to get close to hunting season again here in Virginia. Some big game youth hunts are less than 60 days away, and some of the small game seasons are just around the corner. With that in mind, if you’re looking for a new hunting rifle scope, this might be the deal for you. This Bushnell Nitro Rifle Scope has a variable power zoom between 5 and 20x, is waterproof, fog-proof, and shockproof. It’s a great optic if you’re looking for something for mid-range hunting.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Natchez is selling this scope for $270 off the $499.99 MSRP, but what about the street price? Well, street price is awfully close to that MSRP. I saw a few as low as $450, but for $229.49, I don’t think this price can be beat.

Image Provided by… you guessed it. Midway USA

    What the deal is:

Free shipping on orders over $49. Considering you’re probably buying more than $200 worth of parts, tools, ammo, or what have you, it’s not exactly like you’re going to have to stretch to make it to the cutoff point. But, if you need something to help fill the cart, why not some Walker’s Silencer Electronic Ear Plugs for $79.99, 46% off? Or an AR-STONER complete AR-15 lower parts kit for $59.99?
