POTD: Fire Support Coordination Exercise in Hawaii
Subject: Photo Of The Day
Location: Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii
What’s going on? We are looking at infantrymen from the 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, as they suppress the enemy with their machine gun during the Fire Support Coordination Exercise (FSCX) in 2019.
The FSCX is one of the most realistic training events provided to soldiers and junior leaders through testing of the unit’s integration of maneuvers, fire support and all enabler assets.

TFB: Prints typo
Readers: “Hey you have a typo”
TFB: “Corrects” M240B to M249B and leaves a second, incorrect M240 reference right below it.
