Galco Gun Leather is offering some new innovative concealed carry options that allow you to avoid the summer sweats and stay protected at the same time. Open Carry isn’t exactly always a viable option for daily activities. Galco’s “hidden open carry” options include holsters that look like everyday personal accessories.

The Hidden Agenda

The Hidden Agenda is the first of Galco’s new carry options. The Hidden Agenda is a fully functional day planner that has a separate compartment for business tools including your daily calendar, notepad and pen. Meanwhile, most full-size semi-auto pistols and small revolvers will fit in a separate compartment (not compatible with red dot optics). In addition to the gun, a spare magazine can fit inside the lockable compartment. It is not clear if they are compatible with light or laser attachments. 

The Hidden Agenda is available in Black or brown and is fully ambidextrous. The interior dimensions are 9 1/4 ” H, 7″ L, 2 2/3″ W. Galco has a full list of compatible firearms listed on their website – the Hidden Agenda has an MSRP of $172.00

The Defense Planner

The Defense Planner is made from full-grain leather and will carry most compact-sized handguns including the Glock 19. The compact carrying case will fit your compact handgun and a spare magazine while masquerading as a day planner. The interior of the Defense Planner has extra padding which prevents printing and the holster and ammo loops are constructed from elasticized nylon to accommodate handguns and magazines of various sizes.

The Defense Planner Hidden Open Carry case is 8 ¼” long by 6 ½” wide, and is available in black, brown, or tan. The Defense planner case has an MSRP of $97.00.

The iDefense  tablet case

The iDefense tablet case is great for those who carry a tablet as part of their daily gear. The iDefense features a fully adjustable viewing angle, elasticized internal holster and magazine carrier, separate internal document pocket for papers or small items (more magazines), and a removable wrist lanyard. The tablet is held in place outside the gun compartment on a sturdy backing plate that’s fully adjustable for tablet angle.

The iDefense accommodates tablets and e-readers up to 10″ long, 7.5″ wide, and 3/8″ thick, like Kindle, Kindle Fire, Nexus 7, Galaxy Note 10, iPad Mini, iPad Air, and 1st – 4th generation full-sized iPads. The iDefense measures 10” long, 8” wide, and 2 ½” deep, comes in black, brown, or tan, and has an MSRP of $184.00.

The Fastrax PAC Waistpack

This new offering is by far the most interesting to me (I don’t have a fancy suit-wearing job). Designed to carry most compact-sized semi-auto pistols, the FasTrax PAC hidden open carry waistpack is made from 400 denier nylon with a Comfort Cloth™ backing which is both soft and breathable for comfort when carrying.

This seems like it would be a great option for hiking, jogging, or walking with the adjustable interior that can accommodate both left and right-handed shooters. The FasTrax PAC currently comes in Multicam pattern and has an MSRP of $89.00.
