Bond Arms have just announced the newest addition to their Rough n Rowdy Series of firearms – the Bond Arms Grizzly. The New double barrel single action 4.5 Long Colt pistol has all the same features as other pistols in the Rowdy Series like a stainless-steel barrel and frame as well as a cross-bolt safety and a retracting firing pin.
The New Bond Arms Grizzly 45LC and .410 Derringer Pistol
The Grizzly comes with a 3-inch barrel, bladed front side, and fixed rear sight. The pistol itself is chambered in .45 Long Colt and can also take up to 2-1/2″ .410 shotshells. The Grizzly joins Bond Arms’ Rough Series that includes the Rowdy and Roughneck models. They build these value-priced pistols using the stainless-steel construction and quality control standards seen in all their guns but cut down on the polishing and hand-finishing, passing the savings on to their customers.

Rough Series pistols undergo a minimal cleanup and deburring to make sure there are no sharp edges and then are bead-blast finished. Parting lines in the metal frame and trigger guard, as well a swirly tool mark on the barrel, may be visible. Sanding and polishing the frame removes tiny casting imperfections and rough areas, but with a rough finish, these unique marks are visible, giving each pistol its own unique look while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
The pistol includes a matching leather holster embossed with a grizzly bear. More information on the Rough series of firearms including the Grizzly can be found at www.bondarms.com.
