The Grizzly comes with a 3-inch barrel, bladed front side, and fixed rear sight. The pistol itself is chambered in .45 Long Colt and can also take up to 2-1/2″ .410 shotshells. You also have the ability to swap the barrels out with any of the other standard Bond Arms barrels for a quick caliber change. The Grizzly also features rosewood grips complete with grizzly bear artwork on the sides. The grip also features the Bond Arms name and a grip checkering to add grip and aesthetics to the pistol.

The Grizzly joins Bond Arms’ Rough Series that includes the Rowdy and Roughneck models. They build these value-priced pistols using the stainless-steel construction and quality control standards seen in all their guns but cut down on the polishing and hand-finishing, passing the savings on to their customers.

Grizzly Features:

  • Stainless steel double-barrel and frame
  • Compatible with all standard Bond Arms barrels
  • Patented rebounding hammer
  • Retracting firing pins
  • Cross-bolt safety
  • Spring-loaded, cammed locking lever
  • 3″ barrel
  • .45LC / .410 bore
  • Rough finish
  • Includes leather holster
  • MSRP $377

Rough Series pistols undergo a minimal cleanup and deburring to make sure there are no sharp edges and then are bead-blast finished. Parting lines in the metal frame and trigger guard, as well a swirly tool mark on the barrel, may be visible. Sanding and polishing the frame removes tiny casting imperfections and rough areas, but with a rough finish, these unique marks are visible, giving each pistol its own unique look while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
The pistol includes a matching leather holster embossed with a grizzly bear. More information on the Rough series of firearms including the Grizzly can be found at www.bondarms.com.

I wonder if the trigger got improved after the addition of a trigger guard ? I used to want a Bond derringer until I shot one an older one without the trigger guard. The combination of a narrow trigger shoe and a very hard pull was a real deal killer, I knew why it was that way as in no trigger guard but dang hard to shoot.

They should go full balls to the wall and make a derringer in 45-70.
