Icarus Precision released their first SIG pistol grip module about a year ago and since then, the company has been steadily adding new models to the ACE (Accuracy, Control, Enhanced) family of aluminum grip modules designed for different models of SIG Sauer handguns. At SHOT Show 2020, we saw some of their newest products and right now they offer about a dozen of ACE grip module options. The latest addition to the ACE line of SIG pistol grip modules is called ACE 365 XL Hybrid Pro. It is a SIG Sauer P365 XL grip module that has an extended dust cover portion matching the slide length.
The Icarus Precision ACE 365 XL Hybrid Pro grip module is machined out of a 7075 aluminum and is available both unfinished and with a Cerakote finish of one of the following color options: Black, Gray, FDE, OD Green, or Midnight Bronze. This grip module is compatible only with XL slides. The extended length of the frame offers three standard 1913 Picatinny rail slots for mounting accessories. Here is how the manufacturer describes other features of this new product:
Our new Hybrid grip texture is designed to be agressive but also comfortable. The diamond grip texture is elongated to disperse the pressure while still offering excellent grip.
Exaggerated finger notch designed to help you lock in and improve ergonomic feel.
Area surrounding the magazine switch has been reduced to improve operation.
Extended Beaver Tail to reduce muzzle flip making repeated/rapid shooting exceptionally controllable.
The MSRP of Icarus Precision ACE 365 XL Hybrid Pro grip module varies from $249.99 to $269.99 depending on the Cerakote color choice. These grip modules are also available with and without a manual safety cut. As you know, SIG grip modules are not serialized and are not the part that is legally considered a firearm (the fire control unit is) hence they can be delivered right to your doorstep.
