TFB Behind The Gun Podcast #12: Jack Carr – NYT Bestselling Author, USN SEAL

Welcome back to the latest episode of TFB’s Behind The Gun Podcast. This week we sit down with Jack Carr, the New York Times Bestselling author of The Terminal List, True Believer and Savage Son, all of which are published by Simon and Schuster.

Jack served in the U.S. Navy as a SEAL, as a sniper and later a platoon leader for more than 20 years, returning home to become an accomplished writer. We dive into the world of firearms starting before his Navy career and get into some gear and load out details from his time in the teams. Spoiler alert: his SHTF gun is a MK12 – I like him already. Enjoy the listen.

Big thanks to my man Austin for landing Jack as a guest on the show.

    >never flew it outdoors or ironed it to get the creases out
    >doesnt even know how it should be folded
sounds about right, another faux patriot. and as usual the TFB mods doing damage control for these people.

      >on the article's cover picture

      >be on a fob
      >flying a flag is a bad idea
      >because somehow that will stand out rather than all the 1st world military equipment and white people in a large base in the sandbox

You can't be a Navy SEAL if you haven't written a book or 5 about it.

@iksnilol Gotta capitalize on their service somehow. I'm kind of surprised by the lack of full beard. Can't make out if he has a full tattoo sleeve though.
