According to Kentucky Gun Company, the G2C has been their top selling handgun for the past five years. Despite the distain many have for Taurus, they are a big seller.

@Andrew My wife wanted to get a G2C a few years ago because it felt good in her hands, looked nice, and was on sale for $199 locally. It is reliable with anything except steel case ammo. Also it finally gave me the opportunity to use an old Sig P226 17 round magazine that I bought many years ago during the Clinton AWB, but I still don’t have a P226.
However... it just isn’t as nice to shoot as most of our other 20 odd handguns, so it just sits in the safe. Someday I may give it away if a relative is in need of a pistol.
