The Springfield Armory Hellcat in 9mm has been one of, if not the most, popular carry guns since it was debuted last September 25th as the world’s highest capacity micro-compact on the market. The 1st iteration released to the public was a Black Melonite version which is not surprising because the matte black aesthetic of a carry pistol blends in well in nearly all environments. Now Springfield has dipped their Hellcat in a NEW Cerakote Desert FDE (Flat Dark Earth) finish for all of us to enjoy. Those two new options can be read below:

The Springfield Armory Hellcat has a host of features that have made it popular aside from being really high in magazine capacity for such a little pistol. With multiple magazine sizes, an exclusive Adaptive Grip Texture, and fantastic sight picture, there is a lot to like. All of the specifications can be read below as presented by Springfield Armory:

As with the original offering of the Hellcat, the newer Cerakote Desert FDE models can be had in either a standard or OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) version. While black is a terrific benchmark for polymer handguns, a lot of loyal Springfield owners have been requesting some type of FDE finish for a while now and Springfield has responded.
