Vortex Viper PST 1-4×24 TMCQ RIflescope – $299.99

Featured Deals of the Week - 6-5-20

    Image Provided by Euro Optic

    What the deal is:

Probably the best-known brand of budget riflescopes, Vortex makes reliable, clear, easy to use optics. The Viper Precision Shooting Tactical (PST) stays true to this ethos. Matching reticle and turret measurements allow for quick and accurate dialing of shots, and the 1-4x function makes this scope practical at close and medium ranges.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Generally clocking in around $350 (and costing up to $500 at some dealers) Euro Optic is selling this scope for a mere $299.99 plus $6.99 shipping and handling. Saving a little under 1/6th of the average price is nothing to sneeze at. If you’re in the market for an LPVO in the 1-4x range, this deal is for you.

Real Avid AR-15 Cleaning Kit with Scraper, Gun Boss, Smart Mat, field Gude – $34.99

    Image Provided by Midway USA

    What the deal is:

It’s pretty much everything you see pictured. The Real Avid AR-15 cleaning kit. It comes with a “Smart Mat” (pictured bottom) with some basic AR-15 disassembly/reassembly instructions, an attached parts tray to hold all of those tiny pins, bolts, and springs that like to go flying off and disappear forever, and an oil-resistant surface so it can be used again and again. It includes the AR-15 Gun Boss (pictured top left) that holds a rod-based cleaning system. There’s a Real Avid Field Guide (pictured top right) with all of the basic disassembly, cleaning, maintenance, and reassembly instructions you could need. Finally, it includes the Real Avid AR-15 Scraper (top middle) designed to help get the worst carbon off your AR’s internals.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Honestly, I couldn’t tell you if the Real Avid parts are any better or worse than a standard Hoppe’s cleaning kit parts. But, if their stuff is just plain average, you’re getting a pretty good deal. A cleaning kit, cleaning mat, scraper, and nifty little instructions booklet for just $35? That’s hard to beat.

Aero Precision AR-15 Stripped (Blem) Lower – $71.24

    Image Provided by Aero Precision

    What the deal is:

It’s an Aero Precision AR-15 Gen 2 blemished lower. The title pretty much says it all. The Gen 2 Aero lowers come with a flared magwell and an upper tension screw that allows users to adjust the fit of the upper and lower through a nylon-tipped tensioning set screw (included) inserted in the grip tang. It’s a blemished lower, which means you’re getting it for a good chunk off market price, but it’ll have some discoloration, scratches, dents, or minor pitting. Aero guarantees 100% functionality though, so if you don’t mind a bit of a ding or scrape, it’s a great deal.

    Why it’s a good deal:

The normal AR-15 Gen 2 receivers from Aero sell for $94.99. This blemished lower will save you 25% of that, and clocks in lower than an uncoated lower. Can you find a lower for cheaper elsewhere? Yeah, Anderson and Palmetto will happily sell you one. But frankly, for not that much more ($11 above PSA’s cheapest lowers) you’re getting a product with better QC attached to it. If that’s worth it to you, this is the deal for you.
