The AUG A3 is a short-stroke gas piston bullpup rifle that offers very little in the way of Picatinny rail space. The Clawgear AUG A3 solves this problem by providing the user with an extra 30 slots of picatinny rail space.

In a recent video on TFBTV, one of the negatives James Reeves attributed to the AUG when comparing it to the M4/AR-15 platform was a lack of modularity due to limited rail space. It seems that AUG enthusiasts have also noticed this shortcoming and come up with a solution to bridge the gap between the two platforms.

Given that the AUG A3 is already pretty heavy for a service rifle the designers at Clawgear made sure to keep the weight of the extended top rail down as much as possible. The Rail segment weighs in at only 140 grams (just under 5 ounces) which keeps the platform from gaining any additional weight from the attachment. The Clawgear AUG A3 Top rail is available now from the Clawgear website for € 149.90 ($164.45 USD).
