Photo Of The Day and we re-visit Valhalla Precision in Aberdeen, Scotland through the optics of a Laser Range Finder. Valhalla Precision offers a spectacular mountainous location with a massive amount of reactive targets out to over 2800 meters. That’s more than 1.7 miles, with very safe backstops.
From Vahalla Precision:
Before the lockdown commenced, we were already practising social distancing at Valhalla Precision.
Our preparations for the upcoming season went well and there are now forty-seven AR500 targets installed.
The furthest target is at 2.75 km, with the majority of firing points only a few minutes from the accommodation.
For state-of-the-art rangefinders, you can check our article on the Safran Vectronix Terrapin X Rangefinder, although this photo is probably taken through an earlier system called PLRF15C.
Below: The climbing looks a lot more dangerous than the shooting itself.
