Specifically designed to replace the factory barrel on the FN 509 Compact MRD pistols with a 3.70″ barrel. The threaded barrel is made from a cold hammer-forged stainless steel and finished with a black Melonite thermochemical quench-polish-quench coating.

The 1:10 twist rate should stabilize almost any commonly available 9mm loadings including some of the heavier subsonic loads. The 1:10 twist rate is supposed to provide the user with the most optimal accuracy performance according to Apex Tactical.

The Barrel also includes an undercut thread intercept so that a wide variety of attachments can be used – not just suppressors. The 1/2×28 thread pitch is very common and the barrel comes complete with a thread protector and o-ring.
