New Extended Glock Slide Release from Tyrant Designs

Tyrant Designs has just revealed its latest CNC machined Glock accessory. The Tyrant Designs Extended Glock slide release is a much-welcomed addition to the Glock accessory lineup. With the stock Glock slide releases being pretty small and sometimes hard to use this extended slide release should be a popular quality of life upgrade for some Glock owners.

The Extended Glock Slide release is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and hard coat anodized in several colors including black, red, grey, blue, and gold. The extended slide release adds some much-needed surface area and increased texture to aid in activating the slide release.

This may be popular for competitors who are constantly needing to drop the slide under high-stress situations. This may also aid those who end up with liquid such as sweat or water on their hands while using the pistol.

Tyrant Designs is offering its new Extended Glock slide release for pre-sale for Glock Generations two through four. The slide release will be available for the following Glock models: G17, G19, G22, G23, G24, G25, G26, G27, G31, G32, G33, G34, G35.

Keep an eye on www.tyrantcnc.com for updates on when those will become available.

Personally, I’m looking forward to the extended slide release for the Glock 48. I normally don’t like to add on too many aftermarket parts to my carry guns but since I shoot mine so often it might be a good improvement to invest in. Let us know what you think down in the comments.

I guess slingshotting the slide is not fashionable

The only thing extended about these vs stock is aesthetic considerations. Glock's OEM extended release that comes stock on 17Ls & G34s is far superior.

And it is a release, not a stop.
