Savior Equipment – New Specialist Long Range Precision Rifle Bag

At the end of last year TFB’s Austin reviewed some Rifle Cases from Savior Equipment.

I’m a big fan of Guitar Cases that can store your firearms, but this depends on where you live of course. A friend of mine with a ponytail has to pass a restaurant to leave his appartment, and the regulars must be thinking he’s going to a gig everytime he’s really going to the shooting range. If they only knew he had a RnR Saiga 12 Shotgun in there – great disguise!

The major issue with the current rifle bags I use is that they’re not wide enough for all the accessories I have a tendency to equip my rifles with. Sounds familiar?

I was therefore pleasantly surprised when I noticed the new bag from Savior Equipment. By the looks of it, it ticks a lot of the boxes I’m in need of, especially for my Long Range Precision Rifles and all the gear needed.

Here’s how they describe their new Specialist LRG bag:

When we started the Specialist Series project, we had a mindset to create a line of bags for a specific type of shooter. Our intention was to design a bag only shooters could appreciate because of all the detail and thought we put into it; a bag a true shooter can’t live without.

Here we would like to introduce you to the Specialist LRG ( Long Range Precision ) bag. Available in 51” & 56” and in Black & our new Dark Tan.

You will be able to fit just about everything you need, plus it includes 2 small pouches and a semi-hard muzzle holder. Going live on our store and distributors

Looks like it’s going to be fairly heavy to lift this bag, but it’s sometimes better to have everything in one place rather than spread out across several bags.

Available in dark tan. Clearly my choice.

And black.

I actually just purchased this case from Savior for my RPR and it got here about two days ago. To be quite honest, with the price I paid I was expecting something really cheap and subpar. But when I received it and took it out of the box, I was surprised that the case was actually very well made and the quality of the materials felt great. Savior really did a great job with this one. The cover they include for the upper to protect the scope adds a really nice touch and definitely will protect it from any scratches or debris.

If you plan to store a number of other things like stands, ears and ammo, the front storage compartments allow for an endless number of options. I’m glad that i found this case instead of having to lug around a hard shelled case. Zippers feel great and does not feel like those cheap zippers you’ll find these days with most other cases.

Definitely worth the buy if you ask me! I’m now looking at their Specialist covert case for my SBR to match.

They should be paying the shooter to carry that advertisement around for them.
