The velocity has been upped nearly 100 fps from the old 1210 fps and even slower 1145 fps Top Gun sporting loads. This higher velocity will give clay shooters a nice drop in the amount of lead they need to hit a clay pigeon. This loading also should reduce felt recoil and allow the shooter to make faster follow-up shots when multiple targets are deployed.

Learning to properly lead a moving target can end up being a difficult task for many shooters.
