Blackhawk has just announced that they have expanded their line of T-Series holsters with the new Level 2 Compact (L2C) Light Bearing Holster. This Blackhawk L2C is compatible with the Glock 17 and either a Streamlight TLR-7 and TLR-8 pistol light as well as other pistols. The holster was specifically designed to provide Law Enforcement and similar professions with a concealable light-bearing holster option.
BlackHawk L2C Holster Specifications and Features
- Thumb-activated retention follows Master Grip Principle
- Sound-dampening lining for stealth drawing and holstering
- Durable material provides protection with sleek design for minimal bulk
- Low-friction internal material for smooth and effortless draw
The holster will be initially available only in right-handed configuration but it can be assumed that a left-handed version will be out at some point. One of the new features of the L2C holster is an added speed cut to assist with a faster draw, streamlined low-profile design, and compatibility with a mounted RMR micro red dot. The Blackhawk L2C holster is constructed from glass-reinforced nylon which will give the holster extreme durability.
Designed to follow Blackhawk’s Master Grip Principle, all T-Series holsters have been specifically developed to allow the user’s hand to land naturally where it should in order to deploy the sidearm. This efficient movement pairs with a sound-dampening, low-friction, dual-density internal material that translates into a smooth, quiet draw.
The T-Series L2C also introduces the new Quick Dual Release (QDR) attachment system. The QDR is compatible with belts between 1.5″ and 2.25″ and allows the holster to be canted. Finally, the new QDR system features a button release that will allow you to attach and detach the holster without having to loop it through traditional belt loops. A two-slot belt loop attachment will also be included.
