The Kalashnikov Komrad 12 – Limited Special Edition Russian Tiger Camo

KOMRAD – LIMITED Special Edition Russian Tiger Camo

For the first time ever, Kalashnikov USA is offering sales directly to the public. You’re looking at the Limited Special Edition Russian Tiger Camo of the Kalashnikov Komrad 12, Made in the USA.

This special edition Saiga 12 Shotgun will only be made in small numbers before it retires.

Exactly how “limited” this limited edition is we don’t know, but according to KUSA the Komrad 12 is a non-NFA item which should help these lead-spitting Tigers to leave the shelf.

Considering the overall situation around firearms at this point of time, I don’t think these short-barreled beasts are going to collect much dust. Just beware that they may be picky with regards to which ammunition they will cycle.

Here’s how Kalashnikov USA describe the product:

AVAILABLE NOW: LIMITED Special Edition Russian Tiger KOMRAD 12.

No tax stamp needed! That’s right, the Kalashnikov USA™ Komrad™ is a non-NFA item – you can purchase it from your local FFL without the extra paperwork and usual wait time for your paperwork. See the required steps below.

This 12 gauge semi-automatic, short-barreled firearm is based on the Russian Saiga series and manufactured here in the United States.

The Komrad’s barrel length is only 12.5” long. It accepts 2.75” and 3” shells from low brass to slugs thanks to the adjustable gas system. The Komrad™ comes with an SB Tactical pistol brace, adjustable pistol grip, tri-rail forend, vertical forward grip, standard side-mounted optics rail and threaded muzzle nut.

The Komrad™ is shipped standard with two 5 round magazines. It also accepts our 10 round magazines as well as most Saiga accessories.

Due to the shortened barrel and decreased dwell time, we recommend ammo no less than 1340 fps

    Weight 12 lbs
    Dimensions 44 × 11 × 17 in

Below you will see a few pictures of the Komrad 12 and the Tiger camouflage.

One modification I’d like to see is the possibility to attach a red dot instead of the iron sights.

The MSRP is $1,249.00 and the Komrad 12 is avaialble now.
