The announcement of the Vice President model 1911 marks the 3rd pistol in the Nighthawk Custom Boardroom Series which has already debuted the Chairman and the President. Like the other two models in the Boardroom Series, the Vice President is equally striking in appearance and the multitude of features it boasts so you will strike the bullseye as well.

It comes with a substantial price-tag of $4,199 since it is a custom-shop level piece from Nighthawk Custom. This might deter some people from diving in and purchasing one, but quality comes at a price and this is par-for-the-course for Nighthawk. The newest member of our Boardroom Series of 1911’s is the Vice President. As with the Chairman and President before it, the Vice President comes chambered in 9mm but with a smaller commander frame and slide. The heavy angle cuts in the slide aid in faster cycling for competitive shooters while windows show off the Titanium Gold Nitride crowned barrel. The Vice President features a Heinie Ledge rear sight with an 18k gold bead front sight. The custom Railscales Ascend grips provide excellent feel in the hand and an aggressive look. The DLC finish makes the Vice President as tough as it is hard to put down.

While some of us might shy away from the expensive price-tag, there is absolutely a large faction of the shooting community who still love these high-end, John Browning designed pistols.
